Fuzzy Trauma Llama (FTL) is an old 20-something with a much older soul and a much younger sense of whimsy and wonder. FTL loves music, cooking, philosophy, growing organic food, rescuing succulent fragments from certain death and rehabilitating them into beautiful, thriving plantlings, meditating in absurdly hot saunas, learning kettlebell sport, playing softball, and all forms of camping/hiking/backpacking. FTL would like to sleep in every National Park, hike the PCT, and bike/camp across the country. FTL enjoys all of the earth’s critters with near equal adoration, but prizes the affection of 3 little kitties (named after Peanuts characters) just a wee bit above the rest. Some day, FTL hopes to adopt a giant rescue husky. FTL secretly (or not-so-) wants to be a rock star, singin’ and playing the piano/guitar/drums with maxed out Funky Beats.
FTL believes capitalism is the root of all evil, but also believes in the power of the collective to heal our wounded selves and communities in pursuit of a more peaceful, sustainable, earthly existence.
Fuzzy Trauma Llama hopes these writings shed light on the heart-crushing pain AND the innumerable beauties that occur on a path to healthier, happier living.
